Slient Waterfalls

Let me fulfill my duty,
as Nature demands.
If only you could hear me,
would you care to listen.

All who travels me, are never seen again.
No one knows why such beauty
brings such great sorrow.
But it is not my fault for I did nothing wrong.

Throughout my existence,
this is all I ever knew.
I do not like being watched,
or visited by humans.

To stand proud and cry forever.
Nor pain nor pleasure, is ever
remembered among my kind.
But naturally, we do not feel.

"Inside us all, we have a "waterfall" that cries out to us. Sometimes we cannot hear it, but we know its suffering." - Johnny Edward Mathis 3rd
