Neverland

Neverland: a place where you never grew up,
Where there is no responsibility of adulthood,
Where you never had to feel the pain that love brings,
A place where there was never a dull moment, life was full of joy.

A place where everyday feels like spring;
The sun always shinning, flowers are forever in bloom, the sweet sounds of mother nature all around you.

You infiltrated my hideaway,
Brought winter to my lands,
My pastures are no longer green,
There is no sunshine, just the coldness of Winters hand.

Mother nature has given me the cold shoulder,
There is no laughter, no joy, just the howling sounds of sorrowful songs.
Neverland is no longer the same,
She's concealed herself from the world,
She's safe from the world.
