Cope

Pill less containers,
and shattered wine glasses.
Blood stained carpets,
and fist shaped holes in the walls.
Endless days filled with arguments
leads to a lifetime of late night crying.
No apologies.
No regrets.

Down a glass of numbing liquid,
watch your past become a blur.
Take the elevator to the highest number,
then fly freely until you paint the floor.
Your words don't dissipate when you do,
but when they're no longer whispered tauntingly
within an unheard victims inner ear
through unspoken memories.
No forgiveness
No release.
