Light in the Dark
Out from the abyss booms an echoing call,
Traveling far across the wind;
An answering melody of a timeless song,
Begging forgiveness for our sin.
And from the dark comes a beaming light,
It's so intense it burns my eyes;
I'll allow myself to feel a sense of hope,
In the struggle I'll manage to cope.
The choices have been made, there's no turning back,
We must prepare for our fate;
Defend our homes and people from attack,
Pray that we'll win for all our sake.
And from the dark comes a beaming light,
The entire land glows in white;
As you wrap me tightly in your arms,
I know I'm safe from every harm.
Traveling far across the wind;
An answering melody of a timeless song,
Begging forgiveness for our sin.
And from the dark comes a beaming light,
It's so intense it burns my eyes;
I'll allow myself to feel a sense of hope,
In the struggle I'll manage to cope.
The choices have been made, there's no turning back,
We must prepare for our fate;
Defend our homes and people from attack,
Pray that we'll win for all our sake.
And from the dark comes a beaming light,
The entire land glows in white;
As you wrap me tightly in your arms,
I know I'm safe from every harm.
