Image for the poem You

You're All That I Need

When I'm with you all distractions are put on mute
By investing all of my undivided attention into you
Comprehending your lecture so I can pass the test
May not have been your first love but I'll be the best

I'll give nothing less than one hundred percent
I must confess that I'm far from being perfect
But I'll be worth it for you to take this chance
Allowing me to step into the role of your man

Understand that as my woman I'll treat you like royalty
Loyalty is what I'll freely give even when you can't see
Believe me that I have no desires to run these streets
Creeping isn't a necessity when you're all that I need

Greed is an attribute that doesn't live within me
Queen, I want nothing more than to be your King
Being your tall, dark and handsome romancer
This Cancer desires to be your final answer

Prancer, Donna, Dixon, Rudolph and Santa's crew
Knew that the only one for me would totally be you
Consuming one so alluring, mesmerizing & bougie
Glee is what you bring to my heart making it sing

Kissing my inner soul like it's under an immovable mistletoe
Know that I treasure you more than any amount of dough
So this is more than me trying to get you out of your clothes
Dispose of any doubts about the route that I'm desiring to go
