A Holiday Wish for Each of Us

 
 
Regardless of belief
or of what we preach
my wish is that we reach
to learn from each who teach
 
what matters most is knowledge gained
which helps us all in our refrain
of judgments passed on one another
thoughts amassed against our brothers
 
equality's the thought we need
to understand and put forth seed
that chokes out hatred and all greed
and in it's place let's peace succeed
 
for it lies within each of us
the ability to grasp and trust
that which will start to erase
our ignorance of another race
 
 
 
I have chosen "No Comments" for I wish all who read this and wished to comment, instead spend that time to reflect honestly on their feelings toward other races and religions. If you find yourself bias in any manner, ask yourself why.
If it is because you were wronged in some manner by a few, if you can not believe or live in the same way another does, or taught hate from outside influences, ask yourself;
"Am I so blind or closed mind to do so"?  
For if you honestly answer yes, then you probably have more reason to hate your own race, religion and yourself, more so than another.
