Flaming Lakes

Only your GOD can judge you at the end of it all
So plan on having you a ball up until your final call
Like the last call for alcohol when you can partake no more
Arriving at the Pearly Gates hoping to enter heavens door

Like in AMISTAD, "I BE FREE" should be proclaimed by you and me
As we peruse out in these streets trying to fulfill our own destinies
Ambitiously avoiding the flaming lakes of fires inside of Dante's Inferno
Venturing into the deep dark abyss of Hades in the hell that lies below

Yet, are you undoubtedly sure that is where Satan's palace really is?
Some folks have been suffering the scorching effects here for years
Trying their damnedest to extinguish the pain with floods of their tears
While those with the power to enact needed changes really don't care
