No longer....
Just like the stars in the sky, our love fell beneath our feet.
The midnight moon had spoken it's last word, and the reasons were unknown.
The path now lit from the light above, the emptiness of the love now crept away.
Just like the redwood tree that stood alone, years withered away, would we ever see the light of day?
The shadows that came up and over the hills, were like memories that would always haunt you and be never ending.
My love was no forest anymore, just a field of grass, plain and empty no longer full and luscious.
