what have you taken away?
a shadow of shock as perceptions disappear.
once we were together in paradise,
virginal and glad-hearted,
but your heart drifted away.
a hateful morass of lies -
tears follow memory, follow rain,
love condemned.
in a haze of sorrow,
I still love you.
