Shipwrecked

Hair gleaming metallic white
The ocean's tide
Blue staining the tips in reflection
Of the night's color staining the waves
His fingers brushing hers
His lips curling in a mischievously smile
His eyes glinting silver

He searches for her gaze.
She looks away.

Laughing and teasing
Veins drowning in freedom
Searching for something like air
Amidst coral reefs
His knuckles caressing her cheek.
His voice whispering, promising
His eyes glinting silver

He searches for her gaze.
She looks away.

Resting within each other
The sand coating his skin
Eyes fluttering close as the temptation
Swims inside their minds
His thumb tucking her hair behind her ear
His lips parting hers
His eyes glinting silver

He searches for her gaze.
She looks away.

Morning dawn coloring them
In reds and purples, erasing the blue
And greens of the sea
Of their secret
His hands wrapped around her
His murmurs of comfort
His eyes glinting silver

He searches for her gaze.
She looks away.

A choice between two hearts
Glowing in the color of serenity
Electricity on their fingertips
And salt water in their veins
His eyelashes brushing his cheek
His vulnerability in his arms
Her eyes glinting blue

She searches for his gaze.
He looks up.
