Suicide Note
Let the GOD in you keep you from out of them streets
That gut instinct that's saying that ain't the place to be
Because you can quickly get caught up before you can count to three
Causing your family mourning because you became state property
You'll be a slave to the judicial system or a victim of circumstance
Due to you believing that slanging and banging makes you a man
Them streets don't love you but that's what many fail to understand
Ones that you thought were your friend my be the first on the witness stand
Then when you're serving twenty to life of daily strife
He'll be back on the block trying to holler at your wife
Digging deeper and deeper into your back with his knife
While you're trying to not get violated everyday and night
So you've got to be smarter than a dope on a rope
Or you may be the one trying not to drop the soap
You weren't built for that prison life & couldn't cope
Now the CO's are presenting your FAM with your suicide note
That gut instinct that's saying that ain't the place to be
Because you can quickly get caught up before you can count to three
Causing your family mourning because you became state property
You'll be a slave to the judicial system or a victim of circumstance
