Rainbow
My tranquilized soul sorrows
Tears are the only thing I know
The sun is bidding me bye
And my tormented thoughts run
My vision fails to see things
In black and white
I can see the rainbow gathering
Reminding me of the just injustice
The red for the red liquid they shed and not flinch
The orange for the evening sun that feel romantic no more
The yellow for the spring tulips that closed their petals for this winter storm
Green, the color of chlorophyll that now appears as only a pigmentation in our perceived lands of bounty
The blue for the still waters that no longer assures us of safety
The black...
Well the black is for the blackened hearts that bleeds without a touch of sympathy.
