So tell me where were you?
Whilst I was torn asunder
after all we went through
What cause as to blunder?

Now I’m left to walk alone
am I too much?
The hole in my heart grows
I say goodbye to the life I used to know
maybe I’m better of this way
maybe just maybe

I just wanna leave the ‘what ifs’ behind
but that’ll kill what little hope still remains of me and you
the memories playing like a movie in my mind

exhausted, ailing and run through
at the side of this very long road

burdened with this heavy load
