Poetic Justice

Today I give thanks to the cosmic force of nature
 
That gifted me with the essence of your presence
 
Within the realm of my once sole existence
 
For granting my wish for a lovely poetess
 
To share unity with me in the flesh of verse
 
To soon spill with our dripping quills
 
Dipped in an inkwell of flesh and blood
 
Bonding muses who inspire separate souls
 
Into forming harmony within our common song
 
For we crave a sentence that runs on and on and on
 
Bringing justice for our crimes against shared loneliness
 
Judgment cometh to those who wait "just" long enough
 
To end their sentence with an exclamation pointing towards love
