Underworld
Left to fear what I embrace,
I will die in this strange place.
I wish I could murder them,
The four that I once called "friends".
The last thing that I can recall,
Was their faces watching me fall.
They were laughing as I went
Over the grassy embankment,
Down below where water flows,
And I reside, now growing cold.
My head is bludgeoning my thoughts,
I think I hit it on a rock..
I can't remember much else but,
I do remember that cruel slut.
The one who lead me to that place,
Where the land and lake embrace.
She told me that I was her love,
Then out of nowhere I was shoved.
I saw the four of them up there,
Watching with their hungry stares.
They wanted death, just for a thrill,
And I happened to fit the bill.
As I hit water all went black
Upon my bodies whopping SMACK,
But I awoke deep underground,
All is pitch black, I hear no sounds.
I crawl through rocks and mud that stinks,
Praying I'll get out of this thing.
Finally I reach the stench,
I vomit as my nostrils retch.
It appears to be old, rotten meat,
Now mixed with puke, a wretched reek.
I search my empty corridors,
For hours, days, or maybe more.
I try to swim, but I abhor,
I find no way to the shore.
Just more tunnels filled with fluid,
I had to come back to this ruin.
I've grown so hungry in this hell,
I went back and ate the smell.
I've been using its old bones
To try and dig out of my home,
But they are wearing down so thin,
My options are looking slim.
I begin digging by hand,
At least I know I have a chance.
I dig and dig through all the pain,
My motive, to see them slain.
I rest sometimes, unknown how long,
But every time, I awake strong,
Angry, lusting for revenge,
So I dig, and sleep, and dig again.
My fingers have worn down to nubs,
I don't know how far I have dug,
But finally! A shred of light!
I've never witnessed such a sight.
Even though I've lost my mind,
Now I'm free to go and find
Those awful, wretched "friends" of mine.
Later, the newspapers read:
"ONE MISSING, AND THREE TEENS DEAD."
I left them all, inside their beds.
Sleeping soundly, severed heads.
All except for her, that is,
I took her back to the blackness.
And in that sludge I made fierce love,
She fought, I couldn't get enough.
I broke her legs and both her arms,
then left her there, down in the dark.
Sometimes I return with new girls,
To populate my Underworld.
I will die in this strange place.
I wish I could murder them,
The four that I once called "friends".
The last thing that I can recall,
