Long Walk

Long Walk

The clock strikes midnight
Time to take flight
The darkness falls, over me
The pain I feel is deep
It comes from the crib
Horrors that come in my sleep
Born into a life of doom
From Adam they took the rib
From woman they took spirit
For mine, is broke to end
This life I possess is not mine
It belongs to all that hurt
Upon my death, get in line
To confess, as I'm layed to dirt
My life will have been in vain
All the suffering, all the pain
I'm passing through, the other side
No more sadness for me to hide
All the lessons I have learned
To all my haters, I have spurned
Tell them all I have died
