You always taught me that life has its twists and turns.  
Life also has its ups and downs, but what about love?  
I was not expecting love to be easy as my skin still burns  
From all of the times you scratched it. Every single shove  
And push got me falling on my knees where I fell for you  
Hard. I was not expecting to go through all of this fast,  
The motions and phases. Even when I look at the blue  
Sky every day I still picture you in my mind. I passed  
Out intoxicated and high from remembering too much  
Of what our love was. I even loved your imperfections  
Like that scar on your wrist and little freckles. It is such  
A tragedy to lose someone who others saw sections  
Of and turned the other way, but you were complete  
Perfection in my eyes. I was a goner from the minute  
We met. Tongue tied and nervous. On the street  
You were set lose and should be more than just “cute.”  
I wonder if you already found someone else by now  
And I wonder if they would treat you right or better.
