Permutation
Stevia - scarcely sweet
Drips delectable dope
This kiss
This near-miss
Of porous portals
A mixing - sugarless
Snowmelt
Somewhere beneath
Transmuted breath
Orange usurps
Modifying - morose
Maples littered here & there
Betwixt stalwart
Cedars
Peppered with Midas marks
Home's syringe
Settles seeping sedatives
That I've forgiven
Since I've missed
The dark
Drips delectable dope
This kiss
This near-miss
Of porous portals
A mixing - sugarless
Snowmelt
Somewhere beneath
Transmuted breath
Orange usurps
Modifying - morose
Maples littered here & there
Betwixt stalwart
Cedars
Peppered with Midas marks
Home's syringe
Settles seeping sedatives
That I've forgiven
Since I've missed
The dark

this felt like ode to a diabetic at the start - being i diabetic I loved the first stanza the most :-)
I love the way you present your words - it's beautiful - regardless genre it seems :-)
excellent ink :-)

Awww! You have my empathy. I have PCOS and don't process insulin well. It's not as bad as diabetes necessarily, but I've chosen a ketogenic lifestyle to deal with it. Stevia is life. But take it and run with it! It's more or less a nod to the glucose-challenged of us 😆

My daughter has PCOS and I know she suffers quite a few symptoms - did you say you are on a ketosis diet / eating plan ?

Awww! I'm sorry for both of you, diabetesband PCOS both totally sucm. Yes, keto was what my gyno recommended :) I was never technically overweight, but I've lost about 10 lbs in a month just by switching, and I feel immensely better. It's different for everyone, but I struggled with anxiety pretty badly. I'm amazed the the improvement, I began late in August.

My son told me about it and I was tempted to try but my head was not in the right place. When I was a boxer many moons ago I had an eating plan similar to ketosis - very high protein, really helped bulking muscle and improving cardio vascular. My boxing weight was between 16 and 17 stone with hardly a pick of fat on me - I miss those days :-) you've gotta do what works for you and I really hope it works :-)

Oh yeah, you DEFINITELY need to be ready for it. My husband is doing it with me and he's lost about 25 lbs, and he actually took better to it initially too. I was pretty sick with the "carb flu" when I cut everything out. Got through it though, and I'm glad I did. It really makes me want to stick to it too, because I never want to deal with that again 😖 That's awesome! Did you feel good on it? There are studies on performance and personal records with keto, which generally reveal that it takes a dive for a few months before spiking back to normal, then even better than normal. It takes the body a while to adjust. I still don't feel like I'm there yet as I'm still doing a little less during my workouts than I did before switching, but I'm only a month and a week in. Boxing is an awesome sport!

I got fed up with steak and egg whites (lol) but it made a huge difference to performance :-)
