Blinded Eye

I pass by with unblinked eyes,
Not missing any moment.
Not wasting a single lie,
With living and not knowin.
With closed eyes,
No I couldn't see.
I couldn't see what I chose to leave behind,
Not knowin what I picked out,
Confused about this foolish ride,
Living above the cloud.
I question of you,
What do I do?
You lend me no advice,
Sending me on my way expecting me to be alive.
Is that such a hard question to answer?
You put me on this earth as a helpless sinner.
How can I just forget,
Forget something I didn't want to remember,
And still not knowing what I don't remember,
Which left me blinded.
Am I supposed to be a blinded eye,
Clueless about this whole foolish ride?
Overwhelmed by the memories I have erased,
Still being able to feel the hurt as it came.
Tell me why I feel deceived,
Untrustworthy of every silent answer you give to me.
It's not a dream,
It's not reality.
It's simply how I'll forget to even try,
But it doesn't matter to the blinded eye.
