TIME

There's one thing in life that I'll never be able to recoup
So now I'm very selective of who and/or what I give it to
It's a priceless jewel that's only cherished by a few
Whiles others take it for granted because they're fools
It starts once you're able to visualize your first rising of the sun
And it sometimes comes to an early conclusion by a firing gun
It's given monetary value when you become employed
You seem to think it's infinite as a young girl or a boy
We've all splurged some of it over the years
Then the older we get the less that there is
Having their clock stop ticking is what many fear
Cause once it halts then our love ones shed tears
By now you should've determined what's referenced in this rhyme
If for some reason you didn't then I guess you've just wasted your time
