Unrequited Love (Haikus) 7.2
(i) Couple
never quite a couple
what's love gotta do with it
simply put, nothing
(ii) Not Music to My Ears
my singing hearts beats
My serenade is complete
my strings gently weep
(iii) Die
you ended what we were
I say we,but I mean me
I now want to die
(iv) Easy
loving you. easy
I never ever had you
losing you kills me
(v) Dissolved
the sun grows weary
love dissolves wind and rain
my moon sings the blues
(vi) One Step Forward
loving in freeze frame
like walking in molasses
I don't get that far
(vii) Mirrored
My love's rejection
it changes my connection
there's no protection

You're killing me with these unrequited love pieces. My squishy heart keeps breaking into little pieces. It saddens me to realize that some of our best writing comes from our experiences, our reality. Lots and lots of teary hugs for you!

O..so cruel, the hurt of a heart-felt love un-reciprocated! Undoubtedly, for so many, this pain, and frustration aches deeply!
David...i enjoy the honest, emotional expressions of your individual Haiku, and how effectively each stands on its own! And, i am becoming very fond of your creative technique that enables the separate pieces to flow, one into the next---subtly carrying the over-all theme to conclusion. In fact, my friend.......
Your unique skill ,at creating these particular-themed Haiku, is actually developing into exceptional Senryu...as not only this posting, but your previous one, " Unrequieted Love (Haiku) 7.0 ". clearly demonstrate!
