Shipwrecked
Cold, dark sea wrapping its arms around me.
Slowly sinking to the deep end of humanity.
The sloom watches me without a word.
I pushed you away when I needed you the most.
So many words left unsaid,
But my lungs suffocate with the pain that lingers within
Years and years of happiness suddenly changed,
Once you lurked underneath my skin.
Numbed and weak to get back to the lost me.
Cold, dark sea your waves rock me.
I close my eyes and let you take me away from reality.
You say you're my safe haven,
but you're really my own personal hell.
