I'm walking down the path we both made when we first laid the plans
Ring in our new life...
Holding hands while we would run so far away from those who snuff our light
Shine on our new life...

I love this, especially the chorus. Kissing in the snow, makes me think about skiing and stepping off the trail in a secluded wood ... "She taste like wine/still on the vine" is a tight rhyme with a great line break, evokes such freshness!

You welcome ... so glad to be your muse. I was thinking more about snow and wine ... have you ever had ice wine? It's German, they literally let the grapes freeze on the vine and then make the wine ... it is delicious!

This is such a beautiful song. I almost danced with the background music. The lyrics are romamtic and your voice is soft and tender....oh feel very nice to hear that! Thank you for sharing your talent!

Very Nice , Jeff...

Now , due to my age , this reminds me of some
of the "dreamy" , light acid rock / jazz of the 1960's ,
or early '70's...
Brought back layin' on the grass , trippin' with the girlfriend ,
listening to a free concert in Golden Gate Park !

What a great song, runaway! The rhythm goes very well, and the lyrics portray a sweet love. My only recommendation would be to raise the volume of the voice, or lower the instrumental volume.
