Fault
Who’s fault is is this
Is it mine?
My passion for life burned bright
I fell in love with anyone and everyone
When I realized you’re beauty
You’re true beauty
I told myself that this was not love
But I knew this was the realest love
And I ignored it
I was certain I could never feel this way
Is this my fault?
Or is it yours?
You were always a self proclaimed bitch
Maybe you beyond repair from your trauma
You went after the ones who treated you terribly
You always put yourself in harm's way
Is this your fault?
Or is it mine?
Perhaps it’s the alcohol’s
I shared my first drink with you
That night in my bed she it was there with us
When It almost took you away I realized how much I needed you
No matter the fault the damage is done
We cannot be together
Is it mine?
My passion for life burned bright
I fell in love with anyone and everyone
When I realized you’re beauty
You’re true beauty
I told myself that this was not love
But I knew this was the realest love
And I ignored it
I was certain I could never feel this way
Is this my fault?
Or is it yours?
You were always a self proclaimed bitch
Maybe you beyond repair from your trauma
You went after the ones who treated you terribly
You always put yourself in harm's way
Is this your fault?
Or is it mine?
Perhaps it’s the alcohol’s
I shared my first drink with you
That night in my bed she it was there with us
When It almost took you away I realized how much I needed you
No matter the fault the damage is done
We cannot be together
