Smile and Wave at the Familiar Stranger
I've come around
Not a stranger
Nor a face
Foreign to sight
I'm a danger to you
I'm a danger to me
I'm a disease of emotion
Let's walk new paths
Let's talk about death
Why pretend?
I brought my revolver
I brought seven bullets
Let's toy with fate
You're real
I am so fake
You're the honest truth
I'm a putrid, festering lie
Honestly, I'd try again
But it's already over
I'm so far gone within.
Not a stranger
Nor a face
Foreign to sight
I'm a danger to you
I'm a danger to me
I'm a disease of emotion
Let's walk new paths
Let's talk about death
Why pretend?
I brought my revolver
I brought seven bullets
Let's toy with fate
You're real
I am so fake
You're the honest truth
I'm a putrid, festering lie
Honestly, I'd try again
But it's already over
I'm so far gone within.
