What She Does to Me
When the sky invites the sun
She calls the night to follow
When the cut begins to heal
She's sharpening her blade
When I think the time is up
She resets every clock
When I want to scream in pain
She robs me of my breath
When I find the strength to stand
She beats me to the ground
For every step I stumble forward
She throws me back to where I started
I feel like giving up
But she forces me to play
Even when I fall asleep
She haunts my every dream
She tells me that one day she'll leave
I know that day will never be
She calls the night to follow
When the cut begins to heal
She's sharpening her blade
When I think the time is up
She resets every clock
When I want to scream in pain
She robs me of my breath
When I find the strength to stand
She beats me to the ground
For every step I stumble forward
She throws me back to where I started
I feel like giving up
But she forces me to play
Even when I fall asleep
She haunts my every dream
She tells me that one day she'll leave
I know that day will never be
