Finally Apart

When the sun goes down,
and you think about that day.
I hope you cry if you catch  
a glimpse of my face.
I havent been the same.
My lifes no longer a drag
and losing you is to blame.
Oh I thank God for that night.
The night I finally closed my eyes
without you on my mind.
I've been happy ever since.
I dont ever wanna be like that again.
Though all of this is true,
I still felt akward when I saw you.
Then especially when you looked at me,
smiled, waved, and said hi.
It made no sense so I ask myself why?
I just dont even want to see you.
I dont like the eccentric feeling it brings.
Or the rememberance of the memory,
that we were once close friends.
Just know that when I say I'm done,
I mean it with all my heart.
And for once im so elated and relieved  
that we're finally apart.
