Fidget Spinner

My mind ever ticking
My thoughts never stopping
My fingers forever tapping
My feelings always flopping

In a world that is ever so static
arises a new trend
so popular it's electric
could this be boredom's end

Hand-held, but it has weight
It keeps attention, there's no debate
Sometimes shiny, sometime's dull
whatever the situation, it captures the soul

gone are the ticks and gone are the taps
no more pencil flips or leg slaps
the device melts away fear with just a little flick
just one little one and it starts to spin

round and round it goes
turning this loser to a winner
no one else knows
How much I need my fidget spinner
