Dying trash

Ugly thoughts i put in a trash bag
& i go on about my day
I cry the next
I grab a box & put all my feelings in it
Another dark thought & the bag it is
I froze my heart just like the glass coke in my freezer
But i forgot glass gets fragile when it meets the cold
It's been a long hard day & i need something refreshing
I go for the coke but when i open the freezer
I realize the glass has broken
& my heart sinks for no apparent reason
I cry for a minute
& i gather a cloud of bad thoughts & put it in the trash
I feel fine
I grab the box & the trash in which i threw the glass in & go to take it out
I don’t need that around
On the way to the dumpster
A piece of sharp glass rips through the bag
& all the feelings come back
My knees hit the ground
& there is blood on the floor
But that pain is nothing at all anymore
I am blind because of the oceans in my eyes
& a small piece of glass to my skin ends it all once & for all
