Black sheep
Splitting image of her blossoms as I grew older. Bad traits I try to ward off but was never successful; I'd cuss like a sailor, drink like a pirate and lie like the devil.
Tears stained my face as I seek comfort from her ex mate...tender love and motherly security she provided and as I embrace it with open arms my soul became elated.
Dancing and prancing with joy in my childhood moments until, it all concave. Smoke filled the air with hatred in its company and as the door opens it felt like judgement day.
Like a tree uprooted with its roots severed she yanked me from comfort.
Back into the environs of adulthood my blood burn into ash as I stare into the red of a shirt.
