Vengeance
From the seeds of time and wind swept promises, to the very existence of fairytales. Dreams of love and sugar plum kisses, spinning around in twisted tales in our minds. From romance and love, to betrayal, hate, and disgust of the very ones we love.
What makes a good person go bad? Turn into some kind of monster, beast they've never known was inside of them. Lies, manipulation, betrayal of the very things we hold close and dear to us. From the inner depths of our soul we find strength, courage to help pull us through.
Be it beast from hell, or the sweet kind princess, who always manages to land on her feet. Hunting down the horrid, betrayal like yesterday's meal, ready to devour whatever comes in our path. Wanting, needing to taste the bleeding heart of those who have lied, manipulated, and betrayed us.
Leaving us somewhat satisfied with the knowledge of getting vengeance. Only to listen to that little voice inside telling you it's not your place, but that of the Lord.
"Beloved, never avenge your selves, but leave it to the wrath of God. It is written,"
"Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord."
With that in mind, we walk away with having peace, knowing in time justice will prevail.
