For You Know Who
I remember when you told me
How nothing would really matter
As you dropped me from a tall place
Knowing I would shatter
stared at all the pieces
You promised you'd repair
But now I'm alone and broken
With more things to bare
I remember that voice
The one I learned to trust
Became the voice of my enemy
It shamed me and it cussed
My only lifeline is gone
And I'm the thing that's left
There's nothing else to hold onto
So I'll hold on to myself
I remember when it ended
You were an animal that fought
But instead of finishing your kill
You laughed and watched me rot
How nothing would really matter
As you dropped me from a tall place
Knowing I would shatter
stared at all the pieces
You promised you'd repair
But now I'm alone and broken
With more things to bare
I remember that voice
The one I learned to trust
Became the voice of my enemy
It shamed me and it cussed
My only lifeline is gone
And I'm the thing that's left
There's nothing else to hold onto
So I'll hold on to myself
I remember when it ended
You were an animal that fought
But instead of finishing your kill
You laughed and watched me rot
