You & I.
He's staring... He's staring! Have I done something wrong?
The look in his eyes overwhelming, my youthful heart, it throbs.
I'm too young for love, but Juliet was just thirteen.
Across this room I'm found imagining that fateful balcony scene....
He's so dirty, he's filthy! Should I steal the sin away?
The pounding in my chest won't cease, since that kiss on that first day.
He cradled me tenderly, and made a promise sincerely.
"My Juliet, I love you, to the end of eternity."
We were runaways, runaways rebellious. Married, a precious secret?
I couldn't tell my Mother, and your family wouldn't believe it.
Though a tear or two were shed, when Mother said for you to be gone,
I knew I was your Juliet, and you wouldn't leave til dawn.
Forever, forever and always. Would you kiss poison from my lips?
Our bodies; cold, dead, intwined from my hearts' apocalypse.
Resolved, are we? Resolved, resolved. Star-crossed, we are.
That's not last, nor least, nor all.
That dagger, my death, between us lay.
By the strength of our love, lays there still today.
