Soirees With Seduction - First Post.. Just wanted to Throw something together to add to the site :)
He wore his charisma like a tailored suit,
hemmed and fitted
to project a certain air of generalized cohesiveness
regardless of the circles in which he found himself entrenched within.
My fuzzy foggy memory recounts our initial interactions,
recollected and revisited
sober retractions and revisions,
to a once romanticized collision
that was our foxtrot
in step despite an intoxication laced blurry haze
in we which we screamed silent introductions.
The facade he devised and employed was a distraction,
a beguiling charm
disguising his fractured form
serving to foreshadow
how I would suit for him a future function,
once we were entangled
my humanity then fated for demolition and inevitable destruction.
His ethos bordered on the line of arrogance and superiority
only subtly present
to those previously exposed
to the infection that was his true personified animalistic predilections.
Like a disease, he spread,
managing to seep into conversations
like an odorless toxin,
deadly when inhaled
but rarely noticed within the company he kept.
It was akin to one’s experience peering through a fractured piece of glass,
remembering the man I initially met,
watching him manipulate with ease
those unacquainted with all that was his disease.
