Rain Kisses
She used to hide her tears
In the rain...
She has always loved storms
She flings open the windows
To let wind and spray enter
To feel the power
Electricity
Heat
She dances alone to the
Rhythm of the rain
Cascading in her heart
She is tired
Of dancing alone,
She longs for sure hands
To guide her across the room
Faces close enough
To feel the warmth of breath
Bodies entangled in tango
Creating their own
Electrical current
Of passion,
That puts what is happening
Beyond the glass
To shame
In the rain...
She has always loved storms
She flings open the windows
To let wind and spray enter
To feel the power
Electricity
Heat
She dances alone to the
Rhythm of the rain
Cascading in her heart
She is tired
Of dancing alone,
She longs for sure hands
To guide her across the room
Faces close enough
To feel the warmth of breath
Bodies entangled in tango
Creating their own
Electrical current
Of passion,
That puts what is happening
Beyond the glass
To shame
