AA Girl
A kind of girl I'd never thought I'd be
One to show her weakness and is sending for a sort of clarity
A girl who traded beer cans and bottles
for a second cup of caffeine
To live no more like a walking heartache
maybe the other side really is a brighter shade of green
But when you take away the booze and drugs
I am brought down to my knees
And I'm trying to find what I threw behind
But I'm terrified there's nothing left inside of me
One to show her weakness and is sending for a sort of clarity
A girl who traded beer cans and bottles
for a second cup of caffeine
To live no more like a walking heartache
maybe the other side really is a brighter shade of green
But when you take away the booze and drugs
I am brought down to my knees
And I'm trying to find what I threw behind
But I'm terrified there's nothing left inside of me
