What they were doing to the place
How it was being destroyed

How the grass died
Through her eyes
As if comparing

Comparing a hawk to an elephant
Only she had the advantage
But it was hardly an advantage

Others could see
But they refused to see
To understand those masks to see clearer

There were masks
Only they were tainted
With a power

Power for power
Just her wished it to stop, and they
Also wanted too

Seeing the tainted air
