"Firefight Prayer"

Dear God,

I pray to you in this
Firefight
That you may help me
Isolate fear and shatter my conscience
Bring about my bravery
So I might destroy enemies of thy country.

For freedom I fight
Blind is my sight
Government lies are my light
In this tretchorous Hell
I will stand tall
Strong, true, fast, and well.

If I should pass before the sun
My only request is that
Never shall my name
Escape the memory of thy country's mind.
