The Dagger in my back
Letting the pain
Of your words,
Digging through me,
Like daggers,
Our world has
Plundered,
Into the depths of hell,
It will never,
Be what we dreamt,
All is gone,
And you have forgotten,
But I still keep trying to move on,
But pictures of you,
Keep washing over me,
Like an ocean,
Crashing down upon,
The rocky surface,
I just can’t seem
To let you go.
In two weeks,
We will be in the same city,
Living two different lives,
Not what we had planned,
Why did this have to end?
I miss you.
Of your words,
Digging through me,
Like daggers,
Our world has
Plundered,
Into the depths of hell,
It will never,
Be what we dreamt,
All is gone,
And you have forgotten,
But I still keep trying to move on,
But pictures of you,
Keep washing over me,
Like an ocean,
Crashing down upon,
The rocky surface,
I just can’t seem
To let you go.
In two weeks,
We will be in the same city,
Living two different lives,
Not what we had planned,
Why did this have to end?
I miss you.
