Spring crescendo

Falling leaves twirl and twist
in cascading whirlpools,
floating down to rest on
cluttered ground.

Competing colors seizing,
bleeding reds seeping in to
dripping dew of new leaves
falling down.

Trees stand tall with naked limbs
grasping, shaking, stretching,
hailing clouds within a
hazy sky.

Wind-song whispers whisked away
warning midnight moon
of blusters blowing in
to grip the night.

Silent snow sweeps cool blankets
slipping ice scenes sliding
evanescing refreshing vistas
soon shall surface.

Spring awakens, renews senses
crisp aromas suffusing moods
floras floating, doting eyes
blooming lover's zest.
