We are Broken

"Why fix what was never broken?"
Are you so absorbed with yourself that you cannot see the bodies falling around you?
You call me prejudiced when all you do is insult and belittle anyone who isn't you.
You use me for target practice when you are angry at yourself. Well, I'm tired of dodging bullets and I'm tired of catching tears.
I only want to be near you but you shove me away.
Why fix what was never broken? The reality is:
We Are Broken...
We are broken beyond repair.
You threw me away too many times as if I was nothing more than disposable.
Let me ask you a question:
Are you that conceited you can't see the shards of glass that we are?
We are broken, only this time YOU are picking up the pieces, this time YOU will get cut and cry blood like you made me do countless times... You broke us beyond repair but mostly you broke me.
Why fix what  was never broken? We are broken. The better question is, 'Why bother trying to fix something that sheds blood trying to fix?'

We Are Broken...
