We fought as we left the house.
Your ego lay on the ground, bruised.
I tried to tie the missed connections
to web our love back together.
I thought if I fell too hard from you pushing me

Quite a revelation... Many people succumb to an entire life of 'missed connections' without evaluation and revelation. In your cause, your bravery to evaluate was beneficial. What a delightful piece.
