Reflection torn
Looks that kill lay silent still, not who you used to be
Deceiving eyes, a heart of thrill, what a lie it was to me
Shallow are you to feel this way, your words seem like poison now
Lost to loneliness and dismal perversion, faces that scream no sound.
You sold yourself, to a world of hate
And you thrive on the sin of your weaknesses
A slave to your pleasure, your need to be great
No love can satisfy your hunger.
I see you now, a lifeless corpse, so desperate and forlorn
Waking up to an unfaithful day, a one night stand so worn
Never again shall you see them, faces that go dead in your mind
None of them shall betray you, to all that's past, you seem fine.
Swept away in a shroud of darkness
You are not who You were
Wake me from this nightmare I'm in
I have never dreamed before.
Deceiving eyes, a heart of thrill, what a lie it was to me
Shallow are you to feel this way, your words seem like poison now
Lost to loneliness and dismal perversion, faces that scream no sound.
