The Only Thing I Want Today, I Will Want Tomorrow

I found this very soothing until the last three words.  I guess I could use a good slapping myself.  This is beautifully written, and I take it as a celebration of nature, or the natural order of things.  The title suggests a Zen-like serenity to me.  My favorite lines:

today these waves rolled out again
not a eye was blind not a thing held in
just the home i miss in the pouring rain

blended with hate

continually desired;

Soul, my friend....this is hauntingly lovey--with a poignant, bittersweet  longing for something desired.....just out reach and not quite attainable.....  i read it with sighs.....of O--how beautiful.....and too, how sad--somehow......

You always have this tendency to drift into a totally seperate universe, parallel to the one that you live in. It's a beautiful descent. This poem reminds me of Alice falling through the rabbit hole into wonderland.

Hold on to that love. It's a precious thing.
