A True Fighter
Paralized by fear I wished I could of frozen time.
Freeze you until I am no longer in your reach.
I wish I could see the beyond.
A beyond no where near you.
A peaceful paradise for me alone is all i am lookin' for.
I can't shake the feelin that where I go, you go.
It's all just a haunting memory!
A twist mind game,
Like the ones you like to play.
You can literally fuck with my mind,
But I will not let you win!
For the sickening depression that has a hold on me.

a very accurate metaphor for depression - I have felt like this poem often although the last line I sometimes doubt and sometimes the enemy wins :-(

Thank you for reading! Depression is very spontaneous, and i have let it get the best of me for a while. But im done letting it have a hold on me.
