Somber nights.
On some Somber nights
I find myself alone
Slowly falling, slowly crashing
But always ready to pick myself up
Like the waves at a beach
You came to sweep me of my feet
And in that I admit my own defeat
But you came and you went
In and out of my life like
A see-saw, constantly nudging,
The ground but never making a dent
And all your constant bludging
How can’t I forgive you
When i still feel you in my dreams
And when you’re all that I’m into.
