The Villain

You're a splurge of insanity
You're a falling piece of glass
that refuses to shatter upon impact
and I find myself
cutting my fingers upon your surface
You're the reflection
of a poetic genius
Oh god
I've found myself holding back
the skips that my heart
tends to throw out

I've never witnessed a miracle
but you might just be it
You've sat perfectly still
and in your presence
I find myself waiting–
waiting for another
beautiful disaster
to happen
You're a madman, and I love that
I've caught myself staring
for far too long
I've forced myself
to ignore the hero
in a room full of ordinary people
and I think at this point
it is only denial

I'm the villain of this war-time scene
I've spread about lust and intrigue
while gazing at the world
with innocent eyes
I'm the Jekyll and Hyde
of society–
scraping at the injustice of humanity
and licking off the blood of its leftovers

We're a storm
waiting to happen, you and I
I want
to take my nails down your back
and whisper into your ear
I want to tame that storm
screaming your name for a night
wrapping my arms around you
until the follies of my own disaster
disappear

You're the sun
overlapping the moon
You're the single falling star
that can actually grant
misty-eyed know-nothings
their wishes
Your cape couldn't flow
any longer at this point

I'll rip off your shirt
lick at your neck and
infuse a lust in you
you've never before experienced
I'll push you far into the abyss
then slowly pull you towards me
and grasp you firmly
This one is a spiral of wind
whipping up a tempest
into a cyclone of eternal lust
And nothing will remain
in my wake

Run, little hero. Run.
Take your perfection
and drive another
starstruck girl
mad.
Or
be the hero to my villain
and keep me up all night
defeating me

Take this key and swallow it
lock me well away
Take the wonder
that is your entire being
and bless another soul
with the kindness you possess
Don't let me
wrap myself around you
Don't let me strike
Don't let me thrash into you
crash into you
I'm forever a black-caped antagonist
casting shadows
where ever there is light

What I'm trying to say is-
-What I'm trying to emit
from the moistest part
of my arousal is...

...I like you. Fuck, I want you.
