Love shouldn't be this complicated
I knew...
When I first saw you
something was going to happened...
Things however were going to be complicated...
We weren't allowed the slips and fall of puppy love
By now, we should have been established
with each other or at least with someone else
One could say that our paths should have never crossed ...
That's silly because
everything happens for a reason ...
Here we are however...
Struggling to make sense of this love that has transcended conventional thinking
Every ingredient required is in the bowl
There's just not way to mix it properly
Too many cooks in the kitchen
In that perfect world of do what your heart feels
I failed you
Still
I have hope because
I can still feel your touch...
Hear you whispering in my ear...
Like a lighthouse
you still guide me to the shore...
never letting harm come my way...
Love shouldn't be this complicated...
My heart's empty...
I don't feel whole...
Why is love so complicated...?
When I first saw you
something was going to happened...
Things however were going to be complicated...
We weren't allowed the slips and fall of puppy love
By now, we should have been established
with each other or at least with someone else
One could say that our paths should have never crossed ...
