A Poet in love
I was the rain,
She was the cloud.
I fell straight-down,
And the thunder laughed out loud.
I was the maple,
She was the wind.
I flew where she took me,
Now I'm paying what that love ruined.
I was the rose
She was the thorn.
But it hurts me a lot
More than the nights I mourn.
I was the candle
She was the flame.
I melted for her, but
now my wax lies cold and lame.
I was the sky
She was the ground
Gravity kept us apart,
now I yearn to have her around.
I was the joker
She was my smile.
Now, long no where i see
Love faded few a mile.
I was the warmness
She was the cold.
I loved the summer,
But she loved the pages, unfold!
I was the boat
She was my shore.
I dealt with the storm,
now my story ends forever more.
THE END.
She was the cloud.

And the thunder laughed out loud.
I was the maple,

Now I'm paying what that love ruined.

THE END.
