A Spoonful Of What You Dish Out, Impossible to Swallow

Maybe my ego is a bit enlarged but who's to say thats wrong when coming from the dark shadowing someone else's footsteps?
I tried to fit our differences together but it was destined to be a jigsaw puzzle difficult to place and so separation is the destiny we both need face.
He broke down my shelter leaving me to hinder the down pour raining my faults down upon me as if they were in need of change.
My words laid lost in an abyss where I landed to float amid what troubled me. Made to face what I never thought to second guess I froze to my faults until they were held in the warmth of my minds embrace.
Embracing what was your mission to change, I became a bit egotistical, and set forth to give you the medicine you fed me that left my spirit ill and chilled.
Your insecurities became crystal clear after your tongue tasted the impact of a ricochet bullet of revenge piercing your shallow heart. You watch on from the prison you built for me angry at me for loving what you saw as a problem to solve.
Thought I needed him, thought he'd succeeded in molding me with trembling hands. When the chill sunk into his veins turning his blood boiling to make him cry tears of self resentment for making me realize I was perfectly fine alone with me!
